Findings - KD2024 Quarts Fume' Pearl Silver Ring

Quarts Fume' Pearl Silver Ring from KD2024

WHY: I find big heavy looking rings to be masculine and i like to have one ring that stands out, kinda of the equivalent to a king's ring. And this one from KD2024 fits the bill perfectly, the elaborate design of the ring itself gives it weight and power along with a vintage antique flair and the deep color Quartz stone adds the royalty affect. So if you are like me and have this rock n roll edge burning inside of you this is a great way to show it in a cool and somewhat subtle way......
INFO: Red garnet stone detailing, Smoked Quartz stone, Solid Silver, Made in Italy.

Findings - John Varvatos Silver Fleur Di Lys On Brass Bullet

Silver Fleur Di Lys On Brass Bullet from Lazaro for John Varvatos
WHY: I have a weakness for pendants especially if they somewhat vintage inspired and done in antique silver! So when i saw the post on the Gentleman's gadgets blog about these awesome John Varvatos silver cuff links i went on his site to look at them and discovered some other great silver charms including this Bullet pendant
For me this kind of accessory tells a story about the guy who wears it, the brass and silver materials are so authentic and will present your deeper side while showing your attention to details and sophisticated aesthetics! (and BTW it DOES NOT suggest anything about a violent or militant nature ...after all you will be wearing a bullet not shooting it!).
This pendant can be worn with a silver Dog Tag or a leather cord necklace with this leather shirt for more of a casual, rock star kinda of look or on a finer silver chain under a nice fitted button down shirt!INFO: Sterling silver and brass bullet charm with Fleur De Lys design. Pendant sold individually.
WHERE: John Varvatos
PRICE: $400

Findings - Miansai silver Antique military necklace

Sterling silver antique military necklace from Miansai
WHY: I always had a thing for silver necklaces, especially those antique ones that look as if they were sitting in an old memory box that was passed from generation to generation. An item like this necklace from Miansai that tells a story that you might or might not know of but its long years and history add depth and breathe life into it, making it the perfect piece to show and highlight ones personal style and taste. Its usually those guys who wears an antique cuff-links that they found in a thrift shop or an old belt buckle that they found in their grandfather's closet that have a unique and inspiring sense of style and that have an eye to find these items and mix them into their contemporary updated wardrobe. These type of pieces incorporated in your style will make you look confident and distinctive and will set you apart from everyone else!
And in the spirit of the holiday...i think it will also make a great gift for a special person who appreciate these type of jewelery.....(can someone send this link to my wife????)
BTW i would shorten the chain to have the charm closer to my neck, I'm not into these long chains...they are too trendy. also this way i could wear it with a button down shirt as well.
INFOAn antique chain detailed with a sterling silver charm and military ribbon. This piece measures approx 30” in circumference.
PRICE: $361.00

Gear ring from Kinekt design

After sharing my shoes obsession with you all, I feel more comfortable sharing one more obsession/love with you - Big silver Rings! I love them! The heavier and chunkier the better, almost to the point that its effecting the way my hand and fingers move... i call them a statement rings! Up until 8-9 years ago i used to have a ring on almost every finger...but over the years the selection shrunk into just two, a heavy silver ring from Chrome Hearts in some abstract shape that to me looks like a bull's head (you can probably notice it on right hand in one of my previous style journal photos) and my chunky sharp edged white gold wedding ring.
So, today while browsing the Uncrate blog i saw their post about the gear ring and froze!.... now, let me ask you guys, what can be more manly than the combo of rings and mechanical parts???
you guessed right...Nothing! Now lets add to it some movement (you can spin this ring all day long) and you get the prefect ring for a man!... Luckily Kinekt Design and its creator, Glen Liberman thought the same and went ahead and designed this high quality matte stainless steel GEAR RING! It features six micro-precision gears that turn in unison when the outer rims are spun (as can be seen in this video)..cool, isn't it?
It is available on Kinekt's site for $165..... And the greatest thing about it is that you don't even have to be a mechanic to wear it......
