"When you mix indie rockers with prepsters, that’s what you get. it’s called Indie Prep, ” that's how Tommy Hilfiger described his fall 11 menswear show.I personally not a big fan of the preppy look or generally the TH style but this fall 11 version of preppy got even me on board.... the collection looked more sophisticated and luxurious offering soft cashmere wide leg pants and suits that looked more European rather than the usual all American colorful plaid looks. There a was an overall young, fresh and cool feel with implementing military elements and wide stripes a-la Pendleton on great toggle wool and shearling coats over thick turtle neck sweaters 70's style and paired with cashmere sweatpants....looking all clean and smart!
