There is no better way to welcome a new year and new decade like a new scent. Although it’s not a new fragrance (introduced in 2000) I chose the woody, musky and aromatic Touch from Burberry ($53) to be the one that carries me into the future. With hard to define notes Touch asserts itself as an essence of life. Top notes are artemisia, mandarin tree leaves and violet leaves, heart notes are nutmeg, virginia cedarwood and white pepper, finished with dry down notes of skin musk, tonka beans and vetiver, the trail develops quietly into a sturdy masculine scent….. what a way to start a day...a year.... and a decade! I'm touched.....
